Everyone—bishops, priests, religious and laity—is invited to share in the IRL's mission “to promote and support the consecrated life, particularly vowed religious life, as a gift to the entire Church and an evangelical witness to the world.”
Vowed religious life and other forms of consecrated life are an integral, organic part of the Mystical Body of Christ. Whether we know it or not, the health and growth of all other parts of the Church depend upon the health and growth of this vital part. Our unity with those in consecrated life is a unique source of spiritual strength.
By becoming a member or donating to the IRL, you help to build up the Church by building up the consecrated life and you support important apostolic efforts such as:
Associate Membership
IRL Associate Members receive six copies of Religious Life mgazine each year, notices of IRL national and regional meetings, and information on vocation resources and programs; and are remembered in prayer by the IRL staff, and weekly in Masses offered for the special intentions of members and benefactors. Members also collectively benefit from the prayers and sacrifices of all our affiliated communities.
Associate membership:
$25 per year.
Associate membership outside the U.S.: $30.00 per year.
Sustaining Membership
IRL Sustaining Associate Members receive all the benefits of Associate membership and occasional samples of new IRL publications, to use as promoters of the IRL.
Sustaining membership: $50 or more per year.
