Mission
The contemplative Benedictine Nuns of the Abbey of St. Walburga reside in the heart of the Church, living lives of prayer, praise and conversion according to the Rule of St. Benedict. In our daily ora et labora (prayer and work), we seek to glorify God through hearts united to the humble, obedient and chaste Christ. Our primary duty for the Church is to pray the full Divine Office (all seven liturgical hours). The summit of our day is the celebration of the Eucharist, around which the seven hours of prayer of the Divine Office revolve.
