Mission
The Mariannhill Mission Society is a pontifical mission congregation in the United States and fifteen other countries consisting of priests and brothers. We live by our founder Abbot Francis Pfanner's motto: "If no one will go, I will!" (spoken when a mission bishop asked for Trappists in 1879). Our apostolate is to bring the Faith to those places where the Church is not yet established or has disappeared. The Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, also founded by Abbot Francis Pfanner, often work with us
