We are a community of pontifical right dedicated to the care of the elderly in homelike environment. Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa McCrory, O.Carm. founded the community in 1929. We are currently 160 Sisters with different training and skills working in our Homes located in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois, Florida, and Ireland. Our Carmelite vocation of contemplation and action is central to our identity.
We invite you to get to know our life by joining us at our Vocation Weekend Discernment Retreat usually held in November at our Motherhouse. You can also come and visit with us anytime whenever your time allows by contacting our vocation director. Come to Carmel!
