Director's Recap!

The November meeting at the Holy Rosary Shrine in Lawrence, Massachusetts was well attended and enjoyed by all!

The Franciscan Friars of the Poor Christ graciously hosted the gathering of approximately 100 guests.  The day began with a beautifully sung Mass at the Shrine Church celebrated by Most Reverend Robert Hennessey, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, Regional Bishop of the Merrimack Region.  Bishop Hennessey was very gracious in complimenting the religious women and men in attendance, thanking them for their self-sacrifice, witness, and willingness to serve God and their communities as consecrated religious.

There were six speakers for the meeting:  three for the English speaking attendees, and three for the Spanish speaking attendees.  The Spanish speakers included Rev. Paco Anzoaequi, Sister Sara Grimeldo, HMSP, and Rev. Jose Medio, FPC.  The three English speakers were Sister Marie Mechtild Wasserthal, RSM, Rev. Declan Gibson, and Rev. Andrew Beauregard, FPC.
