Mission

Our mission is greatly rooted in the service of the poor, whom are in the greatest need of assistance.
Where we strives to see our suffering Lord in all who are afflicted with various poverties; economic, social, emotional...
As though the human suffering over time has clothe itself with various countenances, so has our apostolate.
In order to aid our suffering Lord today we serve in shelters for the homeless, soup kitchens for the hungry, nursing homes for the lonely and elderly,
nurseries and shelters for children from dysfunctional families, hospices for the terminally ill, homes for retired priests, parish foundation, and working in the missions.
We are also spend and committed to aid our Pope and Bishops to the best of our abilities, in any other way if no other community was to found more suitable, to respond to their call.

Qualifications

God calls each person to live out of love and towards love. The Albertine vocation is a way of experiencing God’s love and loving Him in return, such that a person gives back to Him her whole life, serving the least fortunate, the poor, and the abandoned. This vocation must be discerned. Confirmation is required. What can you do, if you feel that God is calling you on such a path? Pray daily to discern God’s will. Attain more information about the Albertine Congregation. Receive frequently the Sacraments, meditate on Holy Scripture, find a spiritual director. Make a novena to Our Lady Czestochowa, asking her to send you where she wants you to be and where you will become a great Saint! Pray to our Founders Saint Brother Albert & Blessed Sister Bernardina. Make a spiritual/discernment retreat with us. Get to know us better: call, write, or come to visit [us].

Formation

The spirituality of the Congregation is based on the Gospel as interpreted in the spirit of St. Brother Albert, and on sound traditions passed down from previous generations of Sisters. Loyal to the will of the Founding Father, the Albertine Sisters strive to foster the ideals of St. Francis of Assisi and follow the guidelines of St. John of the Cross. They are Franciscan and Carmelite – they work as Franciscans and possess the spirituality of Carmelites. They nurture a special devotion and childlike affection for the Mother of God, seeking her aid and imitating her virtues. This is a 9 year process To carry out the Albertine vocation in its fullness, the sisters prepare during a period of basic formation lasting 9 years. Postulancy: 6-12 months Novitiate: 2 years Juniorate: 6 years Perpetual Vows: For Life
