Mission

The whole life of the Dominican Cloistered nuns is harmoniously ordered to the continual remembrance of God. Called by the Lord, we strive to have the same mind as Christ Jesus through the daily celebration of the Eucharist, and the Divine Office. By daily recitation of the Rosary in community, by private prayer, reading and meditation on the Sacred Scripture, in silence and stillness, in Eucharistic adoration, we earnestly seek the face of the Lord and never cease making intercession with Him that all men and women might be saved. As Dominican nuns, we are consecrated to God by solemn vows and have papal enclosure.

Qualifications

Single woman; practicing Catholic; good physical and mental health; fidelity and love for the Church; ability to live in community and in solitude; an attraction to prayer and the things of God.

Formation

We structure our Initial Formation Program in accord with the Vatican document "Cor Orans." Time frame envisioned is no less than 9 years and not more than 12 years.
