Mission

We hold to the Dominican charism - to share the fruits of our contemplation with those we serve. We preach the Gospel of Life and God's love by our care of those people with incurable cancer who are unable to afford care elsewhere. In the spirit of our Foundress, Rose Hawthorne, we see Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and in the sick for whom we care.

Qualifications

Good physical and mental health; maturity so that the commitment of this way of life is able to be embraced.

Formation

One year postulancy; two-year novitiate. Both are at the motherhouse in Hawthorne, New York. Temporary vows for five years, and then perpetual profession.
