Mission

Our community observes the evangelical counsels of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The general aim of our congregation is the honor and glory of God through the sanctification of the sisters by a faithful observance of the public vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience according to the Rule of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis and the constitution of our congregation. Our particular apostolate is evangelization with a spirit of missionary zeal and sacrifice. We carry out this purpose through our work in education, health care, parish ministry, retreats and social services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; mental stability; good health; desire to serve God.

Formation

Three-year formation program: candidacy, postulancy, and novitiate. Five years temporary profession. Study of community living, mission and evangelization, Gospel life, Franciscan spirituality and Church teachings.
