Mission
"To be open to the needs of our time in the spirit of the Gospel and in the service of the Church" This community of sisters is presently engaged in the following apostolates: education, health care, caring for the aged, pro-life work, administrative community services, and serving other needs of the Church as these may develop and are within their competence.
Qualifications
Physical, mental and emotional health; a basically religious attitude; love for the Church; ability to live in community; a call to the consecrated life.
Formation
Formation begins at St. Francis Convent in Hankinson, ND, with a minimum of six months as an affiliate, then a minimum of six months to two years of postulancy. This is followed by a two-year novitiate. After the noviate, temporary vows are taken for three years. Temporary vows may be renewed for an additional one to three years before final vows are taken.
