In union with Our Blessed Mother, the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa seek to magnify Jesus Christ by communicating the Beauty, Goodness, and Truth of the Catholic faith in a spirit of joyful evangelization through living the fullness of the Church's liturgical life. The Sisters are privileged to worship according to both the Ordinary and Extraordinary Forms of the Roman Rite. Seeking to make their total consecration to Jesus through Mary a lived reality, the Sisters approach their prayer and work with and in Our Lady’s heart. As faithful daughters of the Church, the Sisters begin their day by adoring our Eucharistic Lord at the very heart of the Church, interceding for Her, especially for priests. The spirituality of the community is Ecclesial, Eucharistic, and Marian.


Candidates must desire to seek God and His Holy Will in all things, love Holy Mother Church, be informed by a spirit of sacrifice, and animated by a zeal for souls. Additionally, they must be of good health (physical, emotional, and mental), have at least a high school education, and be free from other impediments.


In initial formation, the Sister is gradually integrated into our way of life and spirituality by a life of prayer, study, manual labor, and community life. Initial formation is comprised of 8-12 months of postulancy, two years of Novitiate, and at least four years under vow before Final Profession. Life-long formation through prayer, continued study, and living the life aids the Sister deepen her relationship with Christ, her Spouse.
