"The aim of this holy Institute is the glory of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The means [to achieve this goal] will be all the works of the apostolic ministry for our own and others' sanctifications executed with prudence, zeal and charity." - from original Rule, by founder St. Gaetano Errico, M.SS.CC.

Formation
The program begins with a candidate after a few visits to the community in which he discerns whether he shares our charism. He begins postulancy (6 months to a year) and then goes on to novitiate (year and one day). If he is approved for vows, he then goes on to the seminary (Mt. St. Mary's, Emmitsburg, MD) for philosophy and theology (priest track). Brothers who want to remain brothers would find a ministry through dialogue with the community. All formation takes place in Fairfield, PA.
