Mission
The Sisters of the Resurrection are women of prayer and of the Church who believe deeply in the presence of the Risen Christ. We have given our lives to God in joy through a vowed commitment of chastity, poverty and obedience. In our health care, education and pastoral care ministries, we strive to imitate the example of Jesus' love, compassion and concern for others.
Qualifications
Single or widowed Catholic laywoman in good physical and mental health and mature enough to be able to accept the responsibilities of life-long commitment to live the evangelical counsels within the context of community life.
Formation
The period of initial formation includes the postulancy, from six months to two years; the novitiate, two years; and juniorate, five years. The fundamental task of initial formation is the discernment by the congregation and the candidate of her call to love God above all and to offer herself wholly to Him in this congregation.
