Mission

Our community's mission is to grow in holiness through witness, love, and service in the Catholic Church. In the spirit of St. Francis, we reverence all creation and respect each person as an image of God. We strive to live Gospel values and to serve people in need. Our religious profession is deeply rooted in our baptismal consecration and is a fuller expression of it. We strive to live in community in simplicity, joy and hospitality. Our ministry to teach and to heal is an expression of life centered in the Eucharist and rooted in prayer. Our experience of the tremendous love of God challenges us to be compassionate, just, and committed in our service.

Formation

Postulancy: six months to two years. Novitiate: two years. Temporary Profession: three to six years (may be extended to nine years). Recently women have joined us from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the Dioceses of Raleigh, San Angelo, Denver, Austin, Atlanta and Portland.
